Alistair Chisholm's Ghost Walks

Spectre, phantom, ghoul or ghost,
Which do you fear the most?
Join me tonight at eight of the clock,
And we shall together their secrets unlock.
Tiptoe through alleys and down by the river;
Who will be first to quake and to quiver?

Alistair Chisholm, Dorchester's Town Crier, has been running Ghost Walks for more than ten years and no one has died of a heart attack........yet !

Alistair ChisholmHis ghost walks explore the Dorset Towns of Weymouth and Dorchester. Reliving some of its more grisly history, recounting tales of gruesome and ghastly characters whose presence still pervades the narrow streets and alleys of the old towns. A little scary, very entertaining and most enjoyable. Suitable for all the family.

No need to book, just turn up at the Kings Arms in Dorchester or the Boot Inn in Weymouth on the dates in the programme (see below ) or if you want to book your own Ghost Walk for your group or for a special occasion such as a birthday party, contact - Tel:  07773286197 or email Alistair Chisholm

Below: Alistair Chisholm tells the story of the execution of Martha Brown, the last woman to be hanged in public in Dorset.

PLEASE NOTE - Most of these guided ghost tours will require booking - and because of the nature of these ghost tours you should always at least contact the organisers (as they are NOT organised by Dark Dorset) to ensure there have been no changes to the plans as changes can occur at any time for many reasons.
